Although Dyalog APL is free for non-commercial use, we have supported APL for nearly four decades, and believe that it is the long term interests of our users that they contribute to our research, development and support efforts. We publish a variety of pricing models and are happy to negotiate if none of them fit the way your business is organised.

Royalty-based Run-Time Licences
For the Exploration of New Markets
A royalty-based licence charges a royalty fee calculated as 2% of all gross revenue generated by sales, consulting and support of applications and end products developed using Dyalog that is equal to or exceeds £5,000, and is usually paid periodically in arrears.
