    Dyalog File Server (DFS)

    For sharing data

A Dyalog File Server (DFS) Licence allows users to share data using a server, rather than sharing files over a LAN. The DFS is able to serve both Dyalog Component Files (DCF) and native operating system files, removing the requirement for clients to have network access to file storage. This is a storage mechanism for APL arrays. The DFS offers users a variety of advantages within the realms of security, performance, operations, and recovery. Each Dyalog File Server Licence includes the necessary Run‑Time Licence for the specified number of clients/users.

    Static Analysis Tool

    For analysing code

The Static Analysis Tool enables users to analyse and verify their codebases before execution or deployment. Capabilities include – but are not limited to – finding errors, reporting security issues, mechanistic migration, linting, code policy enforcement, refactoring assistance, codebase metric gathering, semantic search, and compliance testing. The Static Analysis Tool is also capable of integration with external code review tools such as SonarQube and Coverty. Installing and configuring the Static Analysis Tools currently requires an associated consulting project with Dyalog Ltd.

    Interface to Kafka

    For streaming data

The Dyalog-Kafka interface provides access to Apache Kafka from Dyalog, enabling applications to produce and consume messages on Kafka topics. It binds to the Confluent librdkafka library and supports AIX, Linux, macOS, and Microsoft Windows. The interface is free and open source under the MIT licence, with source code and precompiled libraries available on GitHub. Support contracts for the Kafka interface are available from Dyalog Ltd, with pricing negotiated according to the required Service Level Agreement. These contracts provide build and integration assistance from Dyalog experts, as well as privileged access to the development roadmap.
