Jada provides general administrative support to ensure the efficient running of the company. She streamlines company procedures, handles the maintenance of the Bramley office, and ensures that Dyalog Ltd’s legal and regulatory needs are met.
Jada left the Cayman Islands to study Law with Politics at the University of Manchester. After graduation she was unsure of her career aspirations, and decided to move to Reading to be with her partner. She undertook several temporary administrative roles for accounting firms and technology companies; following a full-time job as an account administrator for a maintenance company, she felt ready for more responsibilities and to engage with more varied aspects of business administration.
Jada’s attendance as a guest at various Dyalog events (such as Dyalog ’19 and Dyalog ’22) allowed her to meet a subset of the APL community – despite not being a programmer, she felt the passion and enthusiasm for the language through these events. She was also very impressed by all the detailed organisation and logistical planning required for such events! When the scaling needs of Dyalog Ltd meant that administrative support was required, Jada took the opportunity to apply for the role. Since joining Team Dyalog, Jada has been able to engage in areas such as customer relations, administration, finance, and legal.
Outside work, Jada enjoys improving her running skills, taking long walks in the bountiful nature of Berkshire, occasionally canoeing, discovering cool Japanese manga, and making delicious dishes in the kitchen.
