Andrea assists Stine with organisation and administration. She also advises everyone on communication and presentations, both for internal and external use.
Prior to joining Dyalog Ltd, Andrea spent four years as a rhetoric consultant within the private sector and Denmark’s public sector. With a master’s degree in rhetoric, she was able to advise on all forms of communication. These years gave her a solid insight in all sorts of organisations.
Although working as an external consultant was exciting, she wanted to work with a company in a way that required long-term, in-depth, knowledge. She also wanted to work closely with one or two members of management so that she could refine her ability to anticipate their needs and really be of assistance. A brief internship with Dyalog Ltd showed Andrea that working here would give her these opportunities, as well as satisfying her interest in communication, organisation, behavioural design, and people, and she made the case for a permanent role within Team Dyalog. Advising on communication, helping with administration, and partaking in leadership discussions gives Andrea a sense of fulfilment as well as enabling her to help her colleagues.
When not at work, Andrea has a rich social life. This often conflicts with her desire to stay indoors, drink coffee, and read the newspaper, so she’s on a continuous journey to make time for everything!
