Countless hours of consulting with our users, coding and testing have resulted in the Beta release of Dyalog version 14.0. Dyalog developers from Canada, Denmark, France, the UK and the US have joined forces to improve life for Dyalog programmers. Version 14.0 will be available on all supported platforms and will feature:
- significant new primitives like rank, key and function trains
- new ways to deterministically use multiple processors
- data binding to share data in real time with GUI components
- a new semi-compiling parser and more efficient component files
At the same time as the version 14.0 release, Dyalog Ltd plans to release version 1.0 of a new graphical interface to allow developers to remotely debug their APL applications, a new release of the Dyalog Web Server framework and an interface to the R framework.
Anyone purchasing version 13.2 after today is eligible for a free upgrade to version 14.0. Keycaps with the new “Key” operator engraved on them will be offered free of charge to Dyalog keyboard owners.
